Registration Day.......

Today was the day I had been putting off all month. With only 4 days left in the month I headed out to get my
car registered. At the last moment I decided to get on the car ferry and try going to St. John for it. I have heard from
so many people that it was much easier.

So off I went I boarded the ferry at 7:20 and it left right on time! 

I arrived at the MVB on St. John  by 8:07 !

And entered a ice cold empty building and was greeting with smiles and good mornings!!

I had lost my registration and the Lady's were very helpful in getting the situation straightened out!

They even had magazines for you to read if you did have to wait!

It was then off to the inspection booth! Here it turned out that my left brake light didn't work

while the headlights were on! Works fine when they are off. I started to panic a little but the inspector

said don't worry I am gonna let you slide just have it looked at. I know it works... just not properly!

I was finished by 9 am and off to meet a friend for coffee and a few more photos

before catching the ferry back to St. Thomas. All in all it cost me $50.00 extra dollars for

the ferry but it was more than worth it for the no wait , pleasant service I received. !!

Marinas, Compass point marina.....

I love to wander around a marina , checking out all the different boats, dreaming about where they may come from,
where they may be going. Wonder who may own it or who may live on it. If only to set sail off into the sunset on one
of these beautys in Compass Point Marina..........

New things are blooming everyday........

One thing I have always said I liked about St. Thomas was the flowers.....
Flowers everywhere,everyday.If you look hard enough you can see a different type of flower everyday as well!

Take the time to stop and see the beauty.....

There are some beautiful views at Sugarbay Resort and Spa in St. Thomas , Us Virgin Islands if only you take the

Its a secret....Secret Harbour that is

Secret Harbour is a sweet beach hidden on the east end of St.Thomas, US Virgin Islands. I have always loved this beach.
It is a beach that has everything minus the large crowds most of the time! The snorkeling is good, there is a nice swim platform which kids love..... and they have a nice restaurant and bar located right on property. Note to self  find the path directly to the beach instead of the path to the restaurant and bar so as not to get sidetracked at the bar. I know from experience! Many times I have headed out to the beach only to end up spending the day happily at the bar drinking and enjoying the views rather than getting in the water !! It is a lovely spot either way. Aqua Action dive center  is also located on property for snorkel rentals as well as diving..  they specialize in physically challenged diving as well.

Vessup Bay Beach, ST Thomas, US Virgin Island, is a favorite beach among locals on Sundays. You can hear the music playing all the way across the bay. They actually have a generator running and a dj playing music...... it is a lovely sight
to see the people enjoying the beach.

Everybody should be able to stop  at the beach on the way to work.....even if it's only to put your toes in the sand
take a few pictures  and go....I love going to work with sandy toes...

Paradise sky......

What a lovely sky tonight! While trying to close up my desk tonight and leave Sugar Bay Resort and spa . I was stopped by the beautiful scenery the sunset had caused on the east end of the island . I can only imagine how beautiful the actual sunset was !!!

rainy saturday

There is not much to do when you live on a island on a rainy day except , shop
and watch movies so that is what we did!
First a little shopping at Kmart and the mall. A little Domino's pizza for lunch
them movies for the rest of the day!!!

Sunday was more of the same!!  We all wished we could spend the day like this

However we had to get up and go to work!!! And it was a wet rainy night.

Hoping everyone has a dry sunny 4th of July!!!
